                Woman robbed by thieves in Jammu

Jammu: Two bike borne men robbed a gold chain from a woman in Channi area of Jammu yesterday.
According to the report, the theft happened when a woman robbed by thieves in Channi of Jammu, when she was on her way for an evening walk close to her house and when she reached near Ritz hotel in Channi then two bike borne men came and snatched gold chain from her neck and sped away from the spot.

“I planned to go for an evening walk as I wasn’t able to go in the morning due to rain, I parked my car near Ritz.

“I went for the walk but when I came back and was about to sit on my vehicle, I saw two boys going on bike.
“But when I was going then I suddenly felt someone’s hands on my neck I thought it would be some friend.
“But my chain got snatched I shouted and tried to raised an alarm, but they fled away speedily one of them was wearing a cap.
“He was very quick he came and ran away. I never thought this will happen in Jammu during day time.
“Everybody knows me here and this is shocking. I’m not hurt”, said, Mrs Meenakshi.
“I went to the police station and they also assisted me. I have complained at the police station and has requested them to register an FIR”, said, Victim’s husband said.
