               Man killed in Jammu over land dispute

Jammu: A man has been killed in Jammu’s Akhnoor district after he was mowed down with a tractor yesterday.
The report said that the incident happened over a land dispute between two parties in Khour block of Akhnoor, when a man of one of the party was running a tractor in an agricultural field in Khour then a man from the other party came and objected the use of tractor in that field, after which the tractor operating man ran over the tractor to the objecting man and killed him.

The man fled the scene of the incident after killing the victim and is still on the run.

However, the deceased has been identified as Darshan Lal (40) r/o Matoo village, Khour of Akhnoor.
