Police foiled bovine smuggling bid in Jammu, rescued dozens cattle

Jammu: Continuing its crackdown against cattle smuggling the Jammu police foiled a bovine smuggling in Rajbagh area of Kathua on Monday and rescued dozens of cattle.

According to the report, the Rajbagh Police station during vehicle checking in Kathua’s Rajbagh area intercepted a truck (JK2CA0586) and a mini-truck (JK08D1635)  and found 23 bovines laden in the trucks, which were being illegally transported and freed them.

In this regard the Rajbagh police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
