Sex racket busted in Jammu, minor girl rescued

Jammu: The Jammu police has busted a sex racket and rescued a minor girl yesterday. The sex racket was being operated by a woman in her house in Qasim Nagar area of Jammu and in a local hotel. Six people have been arrested in this case.
As per report, the police swung into action after they received complaint from the 15-year-old victim girl being forced into sex work by the accused woman, following which a raid was carried out in the pimp woman’s house in Qasim Nagar of Jammu, following which police rescued the minor girl along with others and nabbed six people.

Swarna Devi is the accused who was running the sex racket in her house, she used to force and take the victim girl to a local hotel for prostitution.

The SDPO East Jammu and Tehsildar Bahu has seized the house of the accused woman.
The accused has been booked under relevant sections of POSCO and Immoral trafficking act.
