       Man arrested for sexually harassing minor relative girl in J&K

A man was arrested on Sunday for sexually harassing his minor relative in Srinagar. The man, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, 48, a resident of Srinagar.
According to the report, the incident came to the fore when the victim girl gathered courage and narrated the incident to her family, and informed them that the accused has been sexually harassing her from a long time, after which the family informed Chanapora  police in Srinagar and the accused got nabbed.

An FIR No. 40/2023 has been registered at Chanapora police station case under relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act, 2012 was registered against the accused.
