Woman accuses son of beating her, forced her to leave house in Jammu

Jammu:
In a startling incident, an elderly woman from Bajalta of Jammu has accused her son of beating and forcing her to leave the house in Jammu. The woman was seen weeping and sitting in a shop in Patel Bazar area of Jammu and expressing her ordeal, seeking help from locals.

Narrating her ordeal to the media, the victim woman said, “My son is pestering me he told me to leave the house”.

“He told me that the house is on my husband’s name and told me to go to my maternal house or else he will cut my legs”, she said, weeping.

“He is a welder and drinks liquor regularly he also demands money from me”, she alleged.

“I have nobody to look after me. I went several times to police station and have registered complaints against him in Sidhra police station.

“The police told me that they will held him, but they haven’t. He pulled my hairs and his wife is also involved”, she added, crying.

“Around 10:30-11am she came here and sat as I was opening my shop. She used to come here earlier with her husband, daughter-in-law also for shopping.

“Her matter should be solved as she is suffering so much”, a local shopkeeper said.

“I demand my son Ajay and his wife to be apprehended as they have thrashed me and forced me out of the house”, Victim woman added.

“There is law here it’s her husband’s property why not her son be forced out of the house, if he is not taking care of his mother.

“How he thrashed her how bad is her plight, police can take action but they are corrupt. Such man should be ostracized from the society”, another man said.
