Jammu Man alleges harassment by fraudster for taking loan

Jammu: A man namely Rajesh Bhatia from Jammu has alleged that he is suffering constant harassment by the cyber-fraudsters, who loaned him money through a website known as Cool rupee and have been asking him to return the cash they lend him or else they will release his obscene pics on social media.

Speaking to the victim, Mr Bhatia, said, “I took loan from Cool rupee website they loaned me Rs 5000 but deposited Rs 3000 in my account”.

“First they told me that I have to return the loan in 60 days then they informed me that I have to return them in a week.

“The fraudster deposited Rs 3500, 3500, as loan in my account. I have return them Rs 60,000 so far.

“They’re pestering me now saying that if I didn’t gave them money then they will send my daughter’s obscene images to people.

“I went to police station they told me to block the scammer’s number and when I apprise them he is threatening me of posting my daughter’s pic on social media.

“They told me we will see if that happens. I don’t know what to do I have taken money on interest to give them”.
