Jammu Police continues ‘War’ on Drugs, arrested 1

Jammu: The Jammu police continuing their crackdown against drugs in Jammu has arrested a drug smuggler in Kathua on Sunday.
According the report, the Lakhanpur police of Kathua laid a naka at Lakhanpur-Punjab border and apprehended a drug smuggler, who was coming from Punjab to Jammu to supply drugs here, after intercepting him at the Lakhanpur border the police recovered 10.45 grams of Heroin from his possession during his search.

He has been booked under NDPS Act and has been put behind bars in Lakhanpur police station.

“They police has held me from the naka”, the smuggler replied to a media-person query.
The smuggler’s identity is yet to be revealed by the police.
