Separate Jammu state in interest of country: Lal Singh
Jammu: Pahari unit of DSSP organized a massive rally at Mahanpur in Basholi constituency in which people of the different Panchayats of Tehsil Mahanpur along with prominent members of the civil society participated.
Ch Lal Singh while addressing the mammoth gathering appealed one and all to support the DSSP demand of Jammu as a separate State to give a befitting reply to the anti-national forces and many enemies within and outside of the country.

While giving point-wise justification of Jammu as a separate State, former MP said that if Jammu is declared as a separate State, there will be peace in all the ten districts of Jammu region and those forces trying to sabotage and derail the peace, shall be totally wiped out.
It will open new era of development and restore the democratic process which, otherwise is a distant dream for no fault of the people of Jammu.
Lal Singh further said that the local leadership has failed to prevail upon the New Delhi to convince them the cause of the people of Jammu. It was these people who talked of Jammu State and floated a political outfit namely Jammu State Morcha, but it is surprising that how they have forgotten their commitment to the people of Jammu.
Local Sarpanchs and Panchs highlighted their genuine demands and vociferously endorsed the demand of Jammu separate state. They all supported and pledged to fight for this cause to ensure jobs and land to the locals and condemned the decision of the Government to sell the land of Jammu province at peanut rates.
Those prominent among others present in the meeting were Ashok Sharma Councilor, Jatinder Pappu, Ram Naresh, Vijyant Pathania, Rahul Dogra, Romesh Chander and Sunil Dutt.
