Complaint lodged against Jammu man for hurting religious feelings

 

Jammu: The Channi police in Jammu has lodged an FIR against Waqar H Bhatti who claimed to be a  Social and human rights activist Waqar H Bhatti haling from Jammu’s Rajouri district for allegedly hurling abuse at Bageshwar Dham and its chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and Sanatan Dharam in general.

The FIR is primarily launched by Rashtriya Bajrang Dal president Rakesh Bajrangi accompanied by some Jammu natives, who has accused Bhatti of abusing Bageshwar Dham a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Hanuman in Gada village in Chattarpur District, Madhya Pradesh and its chief on social media.

“Bhatti should be stopped as the way he has used expletives against Sanatan Dharam and its preachers, his social media account should be disabled” Rashtriya Bajrang Dal president Rakesh Bajrangi said in a telephonic conversation.

“Scores of people have faith on Bageshwar Dham and its chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and they went there to seek solutions and their feelings have been hurt”, he said.

“We don’t comment on someone’s religion and we should also not let people to use remarks against ours”, he apprised.

“We don’t tolerate objections on our religion and in that connection we have registered an FIR case under Section 295-A in  Channi Police station and has appealed police to book him under PSA”, he added.

 

“When  Zakir Naik’s Hawala racket came to the fore he left the country and settled in Malaysia, Bhatti was also speaking in his favour in the media, who is against country & support terrorism”, he said.

“He used to post videos on terrorist Bhuran Wani and Moosa and he was arrested under PSA earlier”, he remarked.

“He used to comment on other community and use social media to run his propaganda, his comments are bound to fan communal fires”, he alleged.
