“Govt should find the terrorist who killed my son”: Mother of slain Deepu

Jammu: The residence of slain Deepu Kumar (23) in Thail village in Bilaspur Majalta of Udhampur engulfed with sorrow yesterday, when the family received the ominous news of their son killed by the terrorists in Janglat Mandi area of Kashmir’s Anantnag district on May 29.

“His wife lifted his body alone why no Deepu’s co-worker came to lift my wounded son, she rushed him on someone’s scooty”, Deepu’s inconsolable mother shouted to the media.

“The govt should find terrorist who killed my son and whole circus fair should be searched. He was working there since 14-15 years, I want that man who murdered my son”, she yelled allegedly.

“They didn’t let him enter the circus fair police should find my son’s killers. He was our sole earner”, she accused sobbing.

“I talked to him at 3-4pm he said  I will call later his phone went switched off he was our sole beard winner”, Deepu’s sister Shruti said weeping.

“My elder brother has eye sight issues he was our only earning hand and his wife is pregnant”, she added.

“We want justice as I don’t think he is killed by a militant whole circus fair should be interrogated, he has been working there from several years”, she said.

“I also went there”, she added further.

“We have little kids and he used to run the house how we will raise our kids” a woman relative said crying.

The victim was working as a worker in a circus fair in Janlat Mandi area of Anantnag district.
