Jammu: Suspected Locals held with arms & narcotics

Jammu: The Security forces along with Poonch police on Wednesday arrested three persons with drugs and a heavy arms consignment in Karmada area of Poonch.
As per sources, the security forces personnel deployed along the IB in Karmada sector of Poonch noticed some suspicious movement, after which they opened fire.

Aftet the firing incident the BSF personnel launched a rescue operation and nabbed three suspected locals and recovered consignment of arms and narcotics from them.
The accused have been identified as Mohd Riyaz (23) s/o Mohd Farooq, Mohd Zubair (22) s/o Mohd Razaq residents of Karmada of Poonch.
However, one injured among the arrested namely Mohd Farooq s/o Mohd rafiq have been taken to Poonch District Hospital.
While the security forces have recovered 1 AK 56 Rifle, 1 Magazine, 10 bullets, 2 Pistols, 4 Pistol Magazine, 70 Pistol bullets, 6 Grenades, 20 Heroin like packets, one IED hidden in Pressure Cooker.
