Motivational: Jammu’s daughter became Army Officer

Jammu: After four years of rigorous training and qualifying prestigious Military Nursing Services (MNS) exam recently, daughter of soil from Jammu’s Samba Divya Sharma has been commissioned in the Indian army as a nursing officer with the initial rank of lieutenant.
Divya Sharma is a gold medallist, who secured first rank in final year of examination of nursing exam conducted by King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Uttar Pradesh.

Interacting with media, Lt Divya Sharma, said, “I’m feeling good and respected getting love from my family, everything takes labour and effort”.

“In addition to that the love and support one get from family helps in attaining your aim everyone has a role parents, teachers in our success”, she asserted.
“I cleared MNS exam in 2017 then I gave CBT paper and also qualified NEET exam. My name appeared in merit list”, she said.
“I was in Delhi for 5 days for my medical and interview. Our interview was held in a Delhi based hospital after that in 2017 I joined”, she claimed.
“After completing four years of college I got a seat in Lucknow plus six months internship then in 2022 my commissioning was done and in 2023 I joined”, she added.
“It feels good to have support our principal sir and family stood with us even if we take wrong decisions”, she remarked.
“You can believe what satisfaction parents get when they see their kids touching stars. She never used transport and used to study till 5pm in the school”, a man said.
