Surgical strike against thieves in Jammu, continues

 Jammu: Continuing its surgical strike against thieves in Jammu the Bari Brahmana police has arrested two infamous thieves indulged in many thefts in many areas of  Jammu and recovered stolen items from  them.

According to the report, the burglars were arrested by SHO PP Bari Brahmana, SI PP Bari Bari brahmana, ASI,  under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram Bhardwaj and overall supervision of Additional SP, Samba, Surinder Choudhary.

The burglars have been identified as Shehzad Qureshi s/o Mohd Fazal of Saj Tehsil Thanamandi in Rajouri and Vinay s/o Saudagar Mal of Jind Khurd in Bishnah, an FIR No. 457/320 U/S IPC has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and further probe is in progress.

The police has recovered stolen wheat graze and has also seized the vehicle used for crime.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total 76 thieves have been arrested in three and half months in their intensive drive against thieves in Samba district and 40 theft cases have been solved.
