Locals express happiness on smuggler’s arrest in Jammu

Jammu: Continuing its surgical strike against drugs the Jammu police today made an arrest of a drug smuggler with 11 gram of heroin under the supervision of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary comprising SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria in Ranjni area of Vijapur in Samba.
However, the villagers of Ranjni has expressed happiness on the arrest of the accused namely Balwinder Singh alias Goru Jatt s/o Swarn Singh r/o Ranjni by the police, because the smuggler has made many youth drug addicts of the area.

The accused was arrested by the Samba police near Sahib Bandgi ashram in Ranjni with 11 gram of heroin.

The police has registered an FIR against the drug smuggler and has initiated a probe.
