Jammu: Thieves caught red-handed for stealing

 

Jammu: Three thieves were caught red-handed for stealing goods in Dudhadhari mandir premises in Rajouri by the police today.

As per report, the theft came to light when the burglars were hiding their loot in a gaushala situated on the road and were noticed by a welder, who informed the local police and got  them arrested.

Talking to the media, Dudhadhari Temple’s president, Mr Thakur Kamal Singh, said,” From several days thefts were taking place in our ashram”.

“Many times our donation box has been forced open on which we put triple locks, it will take long time for someone to break them, but the burglars used to break it and flee”, he said.

“The used to escape with our donation box cash and police was clueless, just 12 days ago a boy was caught by police for stealing in a welding shop”, he added.

“Later, he was released, today they have nabbed three boys who were stealing goods from our ashram and were keeping it in a cowshed”, he asserted.

“A boy working in welding shop apprised an alert police man and he caught the thieves red-handed and called his senior and handed them over to him”, he remarked.

“We request police to thoroughly investigate them to know their gang as so many burglaries are taking place here”, he appealed.

“If police will not take any action then we will protest, one is from Dhanidhar and one lives near Gurudwara and another one is from Bihar”, he said.
