              Illegal Liquor bottles seized by police in Jammu

Jammu: Continuing its intensive ‘Drug free Campaign” the Samba Police on Monday seized over 100 bottles of illicit liquor in Samba area of Jammu from two notorious smugglers.
According to the report, After getting specific inputs, a police team headed by ASI Manzoor Ahmed, PSI Sohail Munir and SHO Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of Dysp Samba raided a place and recovered 100 bottles of illegal liquor from two persons.
The two accused have been identified as Desraj s/o Jabro Ram r/o Rakh Batali of Samba and Vijay Kumar s/o Thoru Ram r/o Beri Pattan of Rajouri.

The SSP Samba Benam Tosh has warned that anyone found indulged in illegal selling of alcohol will not be spared as selling/consumption of the same gave birth to heinous crimes, which is unacceptable by the police.
While the accused have been booked under Excise act in Samba police station.
