Locals stage protest in Jammu against Ex-J&K Gov comments on Pulwama attack
Jammu: Several members of the J&K’s BJP unit yesterday staged an agitation in Jammu against the former J-K Governor Satya Pal Malik over his remarks on PM Modi accusing him of Pulwama’s devastating terror attack, in which forty CRPF Jawans martyred in Kashmir’s Pulwama district in February 2019.
The dissenters headed by Senior BJP leader and General Secretary Ashok Koul were heard shouting slogans “Jawab Do Jawab Do Satya Pal Malik Jawab Do” in their agitation while demanding imprisonment for him.

“The statement which the Malik has given is condemnable. How he got the information that the Jawans are going through the road and they would have gone on a plane”, he asked.

“He said his chief secretary apprised him about the soldiers movement and you should try to tell, why the army didn’t asked MHA and DGP for the aircraft”, he alleged.
“Why the CRPF personnel demanded the plane from a governor instead of other officials”, he asked.
“The letter which the army has published should be highlighted as this is only an effort to defame army by Malik”, he remarked.
“He should be detained as a man who is holding such a high constitutional position is trying to wound the secrecy, army of India which will have a huge impact”, he asserted.
“Since 1990’s not for once the army has asked any governor to provide them choppers to ferry personnel”, he added.
“The army movement’s is watched and supervised by the DGP and the MHA and not by a governor, its just a ploy to dishonor country”, he claimed.
