“I conveyed the issue through Whatsapp to DC mam that we locals  don’t want an alcohol shop and please don’t give assent for its set up here”, he added.

“I have also apprised about the same matter to Naib Tehsildar and concerned police officials”, he claimed.

“They came today and forcefully kept the booze in the shop 10-15 people came and they pushed our elders and misbehaved with our women here”, he alleged.

“A ruckus happened after that here. Our market is small and setting up a wine shop is really wrong here”, he asserted.

“Our mothers, sisters and daughters won’t feel secure in presence of this liquor shop and how will  they walk from here to board the matador from Kala Gate,” he questioned.

“When we don’t want a liquor shop here they opened one and from a month I’m asking govt to restore my water supply but they didn’t did it”, he added.

“I had a vet center here and they closed it without even asking me and now they have set up a wine shop without even telling us”, he said.

“On one hand the govt is running ‘Nasha Mukt’ campaign and on the other they’re opening wine shops here”, he alleged.

“We just want to live in peace”, he remarked.
