               Dozens injure in incident in Jammu

Jammu: A frightening incident has come to light, in which dozen persons sustained injuries, when a house collapsed in Khanater village of Poonch district of Jammu region on Thursday.
As per sources, The incident occurred when several woman stood on the roof of a concrete house of the girl whose funeral was being taken away in Khanater village of Poonch, then suddenly the house collapsed when it couldn’t withstand the weight of standing women on it, following which 25-30 women sustained serious wounds.

After the incident, the victims were rushed to Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch for the treatment by the villagers.

“I’m a local person and Zakir Hussain Shah’s daughter funeral was being taken away then 15-16 women came and stood on the roof of the house to observe the funeral of the deceased and fell down”, a villager said.
Among the victims 1 or 2 women have been declared critical by the hospital staff.
