Jammu boy ‘Chirag’ became Runner-up of Indian Idol returns home

Jammu: Indian Idol season 13 has come to its end game recently declaring winners and runner-ups of the singing reality show. The grand finale of the show, held on April 2, was an extravagant affair.

But its conclusion has given a singing star to whole J&K ‘Chirag Kotwal , who hails from Bhaderwah area of Jammu and who just returned to his home yesterday in midst of a grand welcome by the Jammu natives.

Chirag is  one of runner-up of Indian Idol season-13.

Responding to a media query, covered in garlands, an exited Chirag, said,” No I came home alone without bride it is people love which they are showering on me”.

“Tu Ban ja tu meri ishqe di chashni” , Chirag sung as requested by media during the interview.

“We should see dreams to achieve them sometimes we don’t get success but we should not be afraid of our failures we should never stop doing hard work”, he asserted.

“We should be exuberant in order to be victorious and should never lose our target”, he added.

“I  felt very glad to meet the famous personalities and singers in person as earlier  I have only seen them on  television”, Chirag narrated.

“Indian Idol has given me that pedestal and chance to meet such personalities and your love”, he said.

“It was such a pleasure to hear the feed backs, praise on my performances by the judges and singing stars”,  he admitted

“With public support I have reached this place please keep loving and support me”, he said.

“It is very historic moment for us that our son of soil has achieved such heights, we are all so glad”, said, a native man.
