Explaining to the media, one of the protestors, said, “The Mughal Road which connects Jammu region with Kashmir through Rajouri  should be renamed”.

“J&K should be proud that it never became slave of Britishers, Mughals and any other being”, he claimed.

“No successor of any Mughal emperor has ruled in J&K then why they are imposing mughals on us” he asked.

“If Mughal Gardens can be rechristened and mughal history can be dropped from school books in UP then why “Mughal Road” can’t be renamed”, he asserted.
