Vehicle overturns in Jammu, two hurt
Jammu: Two people sustained injuries after an overloaded E-rickshaw overturned in Kathua on Tuesday.
According to report, The mishap happened when an overloaded E-rickshaw full of passengers overturned on Railway route in Kathua following which its driver and a woman passenger suffered wounds.

After the mishap, the local auto drivers rushed to the victims lifted the vehicle and rescued the hurt persons and took them to GMC Kathua for treatment.

However, the driver of the e-rickshaw has been declared critical and who is now referred to GMC Jammu.
“The rickshaw overturned in front of our eyes after which we lifted it and rushed the victims to the hospital in our auto”, said, Mr Sarabjit Singh, a local auto driver.
“It’s not an accident the e-rickshaw operators used to fill passengers in their vehicle beyond their seat capacity that’s why it turned turtle”, he added.
“The driver is serious he has suffered head injury he has been referred to Jammu. There were 5-6 people in this vehicle and a woman passenger has suffered leg injury”, he further added.
“He was coming from the railway station as it was his turn now to ply, he had many commuters in his vehicle and his richshaw is only two-seater”, said, Mr Kewal Krishan, another auto driver.
“He was coming from the upper side and overturned down side while a lady and the driver is hurt”, he added.
