The ex-servicemen, under the banner of Former Veterans Association Reasi , organised a rally from woman park and meandering through Bus stand reached mini Secretariat and shouted slogans pressing their issues there.
Later the protestors submitted a memorandum to local authorities and told to clear all the drawbacks which are appearing in One Rank One Pension scheme.
Speaking to media, Army Subedar, Mr Pritam Singh, said”: We staged a protest today to express our agitation against the discrimination being done to our HCOS, JCOS, NCOS, ORS veteran officers through one rank one pension scheme”.
“Our future step is to go Jantar Mantar in Delhi to stage a protest there as our other veterans from last 46 have been protesting there, which is not covered by any National media and it is shameful”, he alleged.
