Cattle Smuggling Foiled in Jammu
Jammu: The Police has foiled a bovine smuggling and nabbed a smuggler and seized a vehicle in Ragbagh area of Kathua late night yesterday.
As per report, A police naka was conducted by Rajbagh police headed by Rajbagh Police station officer Tariq Ahmed at Rajbagh and when the alert police personnel searched a Scorpio car bearing registration number (JK02AC0807) during the vehicle check, they found cows in the said vehicle.

After the incident, the police freed all the cows from the clutches of cow smuggler and also seized his vehicle used in the commission of crime, the report said.

The police has launched an FIR against the accused at the police station, the report further said.
The police have rescued 120 bovines and registered 15 FIRs against alleged smugglers so far recently in Rajbagh and also arrested several of them, the report said.
