                  Elderly man rapes girl in Ladakh
A 52-year-old man was arrested yesterday for allegedly raping a minor girl in Ladakh.
As per report, On 29 March, a man named Syed Zulfikar Ali on pretext of giving lift to a school girl in his car took her to a sequester place and allegedly raped her in his vehicle in Ladakh, during the felony the victim school girl sustained wounds on head cause of which she became unconscious, which triggered fear in accused and he ran away abandoning the victim while considering her dead.

Soon, after the incident an FIR was lodged at the Ladakh police station and police launched a search to nab the absconding preparator and finally held him yesterday within 48hrs since the matter came to fore, the report said.

However, the victim is stable now, the report further said.
SP Leh, PD Nitya in a press conference described all the details of the incident that took place in Ladakh, the report said.
