    Thief with a limp caught on CCTV camera stealing from shop in Jammu

Jammu:Â In a freak incident, a man was caught on CCTV walking with a limp and entering a jewellery shop and allegedly stole a ring from it yesterday.
According to report, The burglary happened when a thief posing as a customer went to a jewellery shop and told the owner that he wanted to buy a ring.

After that the jeweller showed him some costly rings and got busy in attending the other affairs, but in that distraction the burglar stole a costly ring taking advantage of jeweller’s absence.

The CCTV footage of shop has shown a man entering with a limp inside the jewellery shop and stealing a ring when the shopkeeper was busy with a carpenter.
The man’s identity is that he walks with a limp and people should be aware of him and should alert the police on sighting him anywhere, the report said..
Armed with this information, the police earlier arrested the thief but he is again carrying out burglaries in jewellery shops in Jammu, the report added.
