Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Leopard seen in Jammu, Forest dept warns locals
Jammu: A leopard was spotted reportedly in the Barota village along the International border in Ramgarh area of Samba, Jammu yesterday.
The report said that a notice issued by the BSFās 48 Bn outpost at Barota has said that a leopard was sighted by them near their nursery, which according to them has come by crossing the IB fence at Brota in Ramgarh of Samba.

They have advised locals of the village not to step out at night in the wake of reports that a leopard was spotted doing rounds in the fields of the village for their safety.

After that SHO Ramgarh taking cognizance of this notice also issued a notice informing the District Forest Officer Samba urging them to catch the leopard so that any untoward tragedy can be turned down, the report said.
The natives of the village has been advised to not loiter outside their homes and to remain alert, the report added.
