Shocking: Teacher brings liquor in school in Jammu, caught red-handed by locals

Teachers have great influence over a fairly-suggestible young population and can be catalysts for change — for better or worse and inappropriate behaviour can bring disgrace to a profession as noble as teaching.

Jammu: In a bizarre incident, A teacher is allegedly caught red-handed by the locals for  bringing liquor at  Government Primary School of Chanti-Tatora in Bhalla tehsil of Doda district yesterday.

The teacher could be seen in a now-viral video trying to hide liquor bottles in the classroom of the school, when he was confronted by some local villagers.

As per the report, the matter came to light when some local residents went to the  Primary School Chanti-Tatora in Doda and caught the drunk teacher red-handed and recovered some bottles of alcohol from his pocket.

In the clip, the locals can been seen asking the inebriated teacher why he brought the alcohol in the school and what he will teach to them.

“This is how he came to teach the students and this is what he will impart to them”, said a local man, while taking out alcohol bottles from teacher’s pocket.

“He knows from where to buy the liquor and he came here drunked”, he added.

“How much did you had alcohol and last time you held a wrestling match of the students”  a local man asked the teacher.
