Labourer injured as building wall collapses in Jammu
Jammu: A 40-year-old labourer injured after a wall collapsed in Katra on Friday afternoon.
The incident took place when the building of JMC near Bus stand in Katra was being demolished to build a shopping complex and suddenly a wall collapsed and fell on the labourer, who was working there and after that his legs got trapped under the wall.

Soon, after the incident the locals as well as Jammu police reached on the site and started a rescue operation to save the labourer and after hectic efforts they pulled him out of the collapsed wall and rushed him to District Hospital Katra, where doctors diagnosed his legs and found them fractured.

Santosh (40) of Chhattisgarh was later rushed to SMVD Narayana Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
“He was demolishing the wall of the building, his legs and head are injured”, a labourer familiar with Santosh told media.
