Thieves made Woman unconscious, looted lakh in Jammu
Jammu: Some thieves looted gold ornaments worth lakh along with salary of a woman’s husband from a house situated in ward no.9 of Bari Brahmana, Jammu, after spraying chloroform on the woman, yesterday.
The report said that the incident took place when the victim woman was sleeping and her family members were outside.

“I was sleeping and my family members were outside, till 12pm I was awake and then at 4am I woke up and saw all the goods in my house missing”, said the victim woman.

“I started crying and found that the burglars stole my gold mangalsutra, three gold rings and they even took away Rs 20,000 which was my husband’s salary”, she added while sobbing.
“We went to police station and the police told me they can’t do anything and some evidence needed to initiate a probe in this matter. I told them they can check CCTV cameras installed on our house”, she alleged.
“I awake at 4am in the morning to prepare food for my children and saw our goods missing”, she said.
“Their house has been ransacked by the burglars last night she was sleeping here and her husband and his brother both went to work” said victim’s neighbour, Baby Srivastav.
“The burglars came and sprayed something like medicine on her and made her unconscious and fled with 3 phones, jewellery”, she added.
“We went for work and around 4pm our neighbour called us and my brother told me that we have go to our house”, said victim woman’s brother-in-law.
“We reached our house and walked around it to gauge the situation and then we went to the room and saw everything looted, the brazen robbers even took my brother’s salary”, he added.
