Drowned man’s body fished from Tawi river in Jammu

 

Jammu: A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Wednesday fished out the body of a man who had jumped in Tawi river five days ago.

The victim jumped in the Tawi river on 17th of february, after which a massive operation for his search was launched jointly by the SDRF and NDRF to find him.

The victim has been identified as Rinku Bhagat r/o Jammu.

The victim’s body was found lying aside the bank of the river, which was fished out by the NDRF team, today.

Inder Lal, Inspector, NDRF, said, “I’m from Kot Bhalwal and it is our duty to serve the country and after hard labour we fished out the youth’s body”,

“Our team along with SDRF kept looking for the boy in the river and finally when one of my boy told me that he saw something human like lying near the river, we discovered the body that moment”, he added.
