Soldier from Jammu dies, three injured

Jammu: A 22-year-old jawan from Mahanpur tehsil in district Kathua of Jammu, was killed and three others injured due to electrocution in Uttarkashi, yesterday.
The report said that, the jawans, part of the 11th J&K Light Infantry came in contact with a high-tension wire and sustained injuries, while one of them attainted martyrdom on the spot in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.

The three injured jawans are being treated at the district hospital.

The martyred solider has been identified as Karan Singh Azad s/o Bahadur Singh r/o Tehsil Mahanpur, Kathua.
While the three injured have been identified as Rifleman Vishal Sharma r/o Rajpura, Samba, Hawaldar Pawan Singh (42) r/o Rajpura, Samba and Dinesh Raj (23) r/o Rajbagh, Kathua.
