House burnt to ashes in Jammu

Jammu: A wooden house was burnt to ashes when  fire broke out at Tanda village in Nagrota, Jammu, yesterday.

As per report, the fire broke out when all the resident of the house went to Kashmir to condole someone and in their absence the blaze burnt their house to ashes.

However, the wooden house could not be saved, while the cause of the fire is yet to be known.

Shakeela, the victim, said, ” We have lost everything in this fire. I have six kids to feed. Our money, gold, food all burnt in this blaze, please help us”.

“This is my daughter-in-law and she is poor, they went to condole someone and in their absence the fire broke out in their residence”, Shakeela’s father-in-law said.

“They have nothing left to eat as their food stock, blankets, money all burnt in this inferno”, he added.

“We have lost our gold and stuff in this blaze. I have five girls and a boy and I work as a daily wager”, Shakeela’s husband Nazaket said.
