 Protest held for Man who was Killed after argument over DJ Music at wedding in Jammu
Jammu: Scores of locals in R.S Pura yesterday staged a protest and blocked Jammu-R.S Pura road burning tyres and expressed their resentment against the killing of Raman Kumar, who was killed after an altercation between some guests over song requests to the DJ in Kotli, R.S Pura, Jammu, at a wedding on 12th feb.
Talking to the media, Vishal Bhagat, a protestor, said, “He was our elder brother and now he is no more with us, we want justice and claim for him from the local regime”.

“Our friend was beaten by the people who were from the bride as well as bridegroom’s side. He has a 4yr old daughter”, Mr Jhonny another protestor said.

“He was married two years ago and the people who killed him must be punished. We will block this till we don’t get justice for Raman”, he added.
“We appeal to LG Manoj Sinha to deliever justice to him”, one of the protestors said.
“We want local administration to provide relief to Raman’s family and his killers must be booked. We don’t what the govt is upto”, a protestor said.
