Banks will be shut for 12 days in March 2023 including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.
It is important to note that bank branches in every state of the country will not remain closed for all 12 days. The holiday list includes the festivals celebrated either in one state, a group of states or most of India.
