Woman Thief Caught Red-handed By Locals in Jammu
Jammu: A woman thief has been caught red-handed by locals in a market at Nai Basti, Gandhi Nagar, after she stole a purse from a woman shopper on Sunday afternoon.
The report said that the incident took place when a woman thief allegedly sneaked behind a woman and severed her cloth bag and stole her purse from it.

“A woman customer was shopping here, then this thief sneaked behind her & cut her bag & took out her purse” a local man who was present at the occasion of theft said.

“I was holding my bag, she severed it & stole my purse” the victim woman whose purse was stolen told media.
“I have cash inside it and it is still in the purse”, she said.
“As I put my hand inside the bag, I felt my purse missing, someone told me to go to that place where my purse went missing, then the thief got caught. They were three of them” she added.
“These burglars run a gang here, they have aides with them. We have seen 5-10 theft cases earlier in this market also.” a local said.
“This video should be made viral and everyone should know about these robbers”, another local man who was present among the crowd said.
“We will take her to police station”, a Police officer present on the crime scene said.
“The woman customer had no idea that her cloth bag is cut and purse has been stolen” a local said.
“The CCTV cameras installed here can’t walk behind these thieves as they’re fixed at one place, but she should be arrested and strict action should be taken against her” one of the eye-witness said.
