Proud Moment: Jammu kid shines in Dance talent Hunt

 

Jammu: Himanshi Sharma, a little girl from Jammu has brought all praise for J&K because she is all set to represent J&K in Mumbai at the finale of India’s Emerging Talent Hunt Season-2, which is going to be held soon.

In the month of May last year, International Daily Rising School (IDRS) Jammu conducted auditions of India’s Emerging Talent Season -2.

Himanshi got selected for her dance performance in her school.

She studies in third standard of International Daily Rising School.

The reality show gives an International platform to kids to showcase talent in various categories.

“The audition for the event was going to be held soon which I figured out and when I performed at the event I got selected, then I performed at Delhi and audition’s result declared on 5th Feb”,  excited Himanshi explains to the media.

“I’m now heading to Mumbai for the reality show’s finale”, Himanshi said.

“My dance performance was on the track of ‘illegal weapon’ and ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ song in the audition and at Delhi I pranced on ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’, which gave me a breakthrough”, she added.

“I learned dance from youtube and I use to imitate the moves by watching the performances in the mirror and my dad use to correct my dance moves”, she said.

“We’re extremely proud that I’m Himanshi’s mother and in such a age she attained such heights”, Himanshi’s mother Mrs Jyoti Sharma said.

“I think she has fulfilled my dreams at the age of seven”, she said.

“If a kid gets a good platform then the toddler is bound to learn alot and I thank her school faculty as they encouraged my daughter”, she added.

“My husband helped my daughter in honing her dance moves and the credit of her success goes to him as Himanshi has said”, she remarked.

“We thank God that my daughter got this platform and I would like to extend my regards to her school and I will try my best to bring the trophy to J-K”, she said.

“I would like to become a choreographer and my hobbies are drawing, badminton and english is my favourite subject”, Himanshi said.
