        Daughter-mother beats boy for eve teasing in Jammu
Jammu: Fed up with lewd comments and constant harassment, a girl and her mother reportedly took on a young eve-teaser and beat him in public at Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, Jammu yesterday.
As per report, the video of the girl thrashing the eve-teaser in public is going vital on social media.

The incident came to light when the victim namely Shehnaaz told the media about the incident.

“Whenever we use to cross from here everyday, a boy very rudely uses bad abuses against us and today he use a very bad expletive against me, which angered me & I thrashed him”, Shehnaaz the victim told the media.
“We regularly use to go from here and the boy makes objectionable comments at me, he is stranger to me and he always stands here and we don’t know the reason why he teases me rudely”, she said.
“The boy is from Bhaderwah and today people also thrashed him and it enrages me the way he abuse”, Shehnaaz said.
“I just want to say that everyone is like us and how will girls be safe if this eve teasing continues and what if he rapes her” Shehnaaz’s sister said.
“I should be asked at the first place why we hit the man because locals stopped us from hitting him”, the victim said.
“We are poor that doesn’t mean our daughters are lesser humans and what if we’re not locals, some people helped the culprit to escape” Victim’s mother said.
“My sister informed that a boy is misbehaving with her badly and he should be behind bars”, Shehnaaz’s sister said.
“I grabbed the teaser’s collar and locals were saying to leave him, many people were with him”, Her mother said.
“I’m of the opinion that teasing is wrong, whether with natives or girls from other state as this will spoil our society’s milieu, which will discourage girls to not leave homes” a local man said.
