Thief caught by locals in Jammu, handed to police
Jammu: A thief was caught in an abandoned palace near railway station in Bari Brahmana in Jammu, yesterday, when he entered the palace and was stealing borewell pipes from it.
As per report, a burglar according to locals was stealing bore well pipes and a vigilant passerby who saw his act caught him and soon many locals joined and nabbed the thief.

“The thief was injecting drugs in his veins when I caught him stealing, there was another one with him and his bike’s regd no is ‘JK21A3909′”, a local youth who grabbed the thief said.

“There is a terror of thieves here, they have stolen engines of generators, wires, ceiling wires, bathroom wires, there is nothing which they don’t steal”, another local said.
“These burglars sleep all day and in the night they commit robberies here”, he added.
The locals caught the thief and handed him to police.
We appeal to SHO Sunil Sharma to take stringent action against these burglars as they are drug addicts and to satisfy their addiction they’re committing robberies here, the report said.
