State land worth crores recovered from Top businessman with terror links in J&K
Jammu: In the ongoing anti-encroachment drive by the J&K govt, the administration on Monday has claimed to recover state land worth of crores from a top businessman in Kupwara, who is also allegedly found affiliated with terror groups.
As per report, Zahoor Ahmed Watali an influential businessman from Kupwara who was already under the scanner of ED and NIA for alleged terror funding and affiliation with terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) is also found a state land grabber.

The govt has said that they have retrieved 5 kanals of govt land from prime locations in village Kachwari, Handwara which was under the possession of accused (Zahoor), the report said.

While the administration has informed that a total of 250 kanals of state land in Kupwara have been retrieved so far by the govt.
