               Several injured as car hits divider in Jammu
Jammu: At least 8 injured in a ghastly accident on Lakhanpur road in Kathua, yesterday.
According to report, the incident occurred when the driver of a Scorpio car bearing registration number JK01T3911 lost control and hit the divider on Lakhanpur road.

“I am from Jammu and I was heading towards Pathankot and suddenly a car hit the divider”, a local eye-witness of the incident said.

“The lack of traffic signs and lights here on the highway leads to such fatal accidents, the highway authorities should put lights here, the driver was aged and the locals helped the injured a lot and now they are being referred to GMC Jammu and total 8 are injured”, he added.
“I went to Ludhiana to get my wife checked and when I arrived at Lakhanpur I saw this accident, there was no traffic symbol here and that’s was why car hit the divide”, Abdul Ghani another eye-witness said.
After the incident, locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Associated Hospital and GMC Kathua
