Bike owner gets scooty speeding challan from Traffic police in Jammu
Jammu: A local resident has received an over-speeding challan for a scooty from Jammu traffic police mentioning the registration number of his two wheeler affixed on a scooty.
As per report, Kamal Sharma, who works as a daily wager at PHE dept in Jammu received a message on his mobile phone from Jammu traffic police, regarding the challan for over speeding against the registration number of a scooty JK-02-CK-5820 at 4:45pm, yesterday.

“My bike is parked at my home from 10-12 days and from yesterday I’m afraid and baffled that how I received this challan about which my brother informed me”, he added.

“My bike’s registration number is ‘JK02CX5820’ and scooty’s reg no is ‘JK02CK5820’, can’t the traffic police who fined me differentiate between the two”, he said.
“I am really afraid what if that scooty operator might have been a terrorist, thief or snatcher and what if police jails me considering him”, Kamal remarked.
“I appeal SSP traffic Jammu & LG sir to take strict action against that officer who sent me this fine”, he said.
“This online system of e-challan is really useless”, Kamal said.
