        Jammu: Man accidentally kills wife while cleaning gun

Jammu:Â A man accidentally shot and killed his wife, while he was cleaning his gun in his house at Surankote area of Poonch, Jammu on Thursday.
As per the sources, Nisar Ahmed (27) s/o Nazir Hussain resident of Mahra, Poonch, who is a member of ‘Village Defense Committee’ (VDC) was cleaning his rifle at his residence and it accidentally went off killing his wife Rubina Kouser on the spot.
Preliminary information revealed this was an accidental discharge of a rifle while it was being cleaned.
After the incident the locals informed the police and SHO Surankote along with his team reached on the spot to probe the matter.
