Robbers loot cash, silver, gold jewellery from house in broad daylight in Jammu
Jammu: On yesterday’s morning, in Kotli Mian Fateh village of R.S Pura, some unknown robbers looted a house and decamped with valuables worth lakhs. Deepak, owner of the house, said he was at his work and nobody was present at his home.
”At 8am, we left our house as I had to leave my wife at hospital and in the afternoon I received a call that some unknown robbers had barged into my and looted it”, Deepak told media.

“The robbers broke open the almirahs and lockers of the house and stole Rs 25,000, gold earrings worth of Rs 25,000 and 174.9 gms of silver jewels”, he said.

“The stole silver bangles of my daughter and earlier, they steal an LCD from our house, they also tried to steal my bike”, he added.
“My uncles arrived in our house before us and brought the police here.” Deepak said.
“The police should put the robbers behind bars and they have committed so many burglaries in our ward”, he added.
“My sister-in-law was in hospital and I was with her. Somebody informed us on call that our has been ransacked”, Deepak’s wife said.
“The burglars has stolen 170-200 grams of our silver, gold earrings worth of Rs 25,000 and cash approximately Rs 25,000-30,000”, she added.
“Somedays ago when we were in our house they to rob us. We appeal the local police to please catch them as soon as possible”, she remarked.
