Girl thief arrested within hours for stealing Earring of Elderly woman in Jammu

Jammu: The TalabTillo police yesterday arrested a girl thief who was involved in a  snatching incident at Subash Nagar, in which she snatched earrings of an elderly lady on 19th Jan.

According to the report, The TalabTillo Police acting on Sunita Gupta w/o Ganesh Das r/o, Talab Tillo Jammu complaint’s, arrested a female burglar from the aforementioned place.

The woman thief has been identified as Radha Gupta d\o  Shishu Pal Gupta r/o Amar Colony, TalabTillo, Jammu.

During the course of investigation the accused confessed her involvement in the said case and on her disclosure another associate of her , namely Shishu Pal s/o Ravi Kumar r/o Shakti Nagar, Jammu got arrested.

The police has recovered 1 Earring snatched at TalabTillo and one Gold Jumka snatched at Subash Nagar Jammu.

Moreover, during investigation of the case one Scooty bearing registration No. JK02CN0598 is also seized, which was used during the commission of crime.

The arrest was made by PSI Talab Tillo Sonu Choudhary, while the overall arrests and recoveries in both the cases were made under the supervision of  SDPO North Jammu Kulbir Chand Handa.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
