Kashmiri Pandits observe ‘Exodus Day’, demand justice for victims in Jammu


Jammu:
The Jagti Tenement committee/Soan Kashmir front J&K at Jagti township Nagrota Jammu under the chairmanship of its President Shadi Lal Pandita staged a protest observing as exodus day as black day, today.

“Our front is observing 33rd years of our exodus day as a black day and the state and center Governments must abstain from rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiri pandits, instead of that the govt should try to relive the pain of Kashmiri pandits and fulfill  our demands various demands including Rehabilitation once for all.

Addressing the protestors pandia said that on january 19, 1990 the Kashmiri Pandits and other Minorities were expelled from Kashmir valley by the Pakistani and Kashmiri terrorists.

“It was a terrible day when Kashmiri pandits and other Minorities were terrorized and killed by the Pakistani and Kashmiri terrorists and expelled us forcefully to leave the valley with in 24 hours”, he said.

“The Pakistani and Kashmiri terrorists killed Kashmiri pandits in Kashmir and forced them to live in exile, but even after 33 years our state and central government have completely failed to address our issues”, he remarked.

“The package employees have been protesting for months demanding to save their lives which the local govt is ignoring, instead it should fulfill their demands as soon as possible”, he added.

Moreover, he said that the Soan Kashmir Front J&K organization members have been on protest for more then two and half years demanding to increase the monthly cash relief of Relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 and to provide 20,000 Jobs for unemployed youth of kps which the govt is neglecting.
