Dozens of patients and Just 1 ultrasound machine at GMC Jammu
Jammu: Over dozens of patients come to GMC, Jammu every day for an ultrasound, but with only one machine only some are able to make use of it, while others have to wait for long hours in queue for their turn.
The matter came to light when an attendant of a patient went to GMC, Bakshi Nagar for an ultrasound test and made a clip, when he saw long queues of people waiting in line for the test outside ultrasound ward.

The primary care in this government hospital is in a shambles. People are not waiting for their turn, the report said.

The GMC Jammu is the major hospital in Jammu, where patients use to be referred from other regions of the division for the advance treatment, but lack of facilities at the hospital forces poor people to visit private clinics, the report said.
The LG sir should take cognizance of this matter as patients are suffering at GMC on daily basis, he should direct hospital authorities to install more machines for public welfare, the report said.
