Government officer suspended in J&K
Housing and Urban Development Department ordered suspension of Anees Ahmad Chowdhary, then Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Ganderbal and presently Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kupwara, who has been booked by Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Pending inquiry into his conduct in the case FIR Number 09/2018 in Police Station VOK (now ACB), the officer shall remain suspended and attached in the office of the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.
An order in this regard was issued today, which further reads that Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Handwara shall hold the charge of the post of Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kupwara, in addition to his own duties till further orders.
