         Jammu’s Mayor caught Clerks red-handed accepting bribe
Jammu, Jan 09, 2023: A bribery case has appeared today, reportedly in which some clerks of JMC seen accepting bribe for issuing birth certificates.
As per report, a complainant brought to notice a bribery case to Jammu’s Mayor Rajinder Sharma and acting on the grievance, when he reached JMC office he warned all the clerks there to abstain from bribe for issuing certificates to continue their job.

“We have caught an agent, who told us that employees here are asking for money to issue birth certificates”, he said.

“An FIR has been registered against that agent, do you want to lose jobs. No, one will be spared if they caught taking bribe from locals,
“if anyone caught red handed asking money for obtaining birth certificates, they will be booked”, he added.
